Taipei, Taiwan, October 6, 2010- AVer INFORMATION Inc., the leading provider of
surveillance technology, today announced a successful implementation between AVerDiGi
SA6416E 16CH Hybrid DVR and Sony IP cameras that introduce information technology
to promote exchange of information among people of Czech and Slovakia, and tourists
to the Horne Srnie village which located at the border of Czech and Slovak.
Background
To promote a harmony neighborhood of Horne Srnie-between local authority and residents,
increase the use of information technology, act as extension protection against
flood, and support and expand tourism for the region, village counsels decided to
use surveillance technology to fulfill those goals. The project was created under
“What are you doing neighbor-a visit to internet”.
Implementation
AVerDiGi SA6416E 16CH Hybrid DVR that utilizes the latest Embedded OS, built in
DOM (Disk On Module) to efficiently prevent virus attack and operate even HDD crashed,
Auto Scan with full screen display under 1, 4, 8, 9, 13, 16-camera display modes,
built-in noise reduction algorithms, and compatible with SONY IP cameras, were in
favor of the client, and is placed in the village hall. The scattered IP cameras
are connected back and sending live surveillance images to the DVR through Wide
Area Network (WAN). Moreover, 4 channels live surveillance images is uploaded online
at http://www.corobissused.eu/en/ for instant access and sharing with its neighbor
country-Czech Republic.
Expansion
Six more villages in Czech and six more villages in Slovakia are planning to mirror
the successful experience from Horne Srnie village, Trencin County, Slovakia. As
the cameras and DVRs become even more distributed and surveillance channels increases,
a Central Monitoring System will be essential for efficient management. Having that
in mind from the beginning of this project, the client and local installer agreed
to install AVer Hybrid DVR for the powerful, free of charge CMS and compatibility
with more than 60 brands and 500 models of IP Cams from all major manufacturers
in the future.
